The National Association of Real Estate Brokers (“NAREB”) is the oldest and largest Black trade association in the USA. With over 97 chapters across the country. The organization was formed out of a need to secure the right to equal housing opportunity regardless of race, creed or color. Since its inception in 1947, NAREB has promoted and/or participated in various meaningful challenges and legislative initiatives to establish and promote fair housing. The membership of NAREB includes residential and commercial real estate sales agents and brokers, loan officers and mortgage brokers, title companies and appraisers. The national goal of NAREB is to promote the meaningful exchange of ideas and to provide training and accreditation services to ensure that minority real estate professionals are aware of current issues and developments affecting the real estate industry.
