ESP Celebrates Super Bowl XLIV in
Miami
The
inaugural Entertainment & Sports Plus Super Bowl celebration
was a rousing success.

Networking guru George Fraser addressing
student-athletes from Broward and Miami-Dade counties in the first
annual Business of Sport Summit as part of Super Bowl XLIV activities
Nearly
200 student-athletes from Miami-Dade and Broward counties participated
in the first annual Business of Sport Summit co-sponsored
by Entertainment & Sports Plus and Sports Entertainment Team
(SET), a group of NFL moms and other entrepreneurial women Two dozen
professionals from various segments of the sports business industry
informed and motivated students to do better academically in order
to pursue non-playing careers in professional and collegiate sports,
i.e. administration, athletic trainer, broadcasting, catering, coach,
chiropractor, community affairs, equipment manager, facilities,
finance, groundskeeper, human resources, information technology,
marketing, media relations, operations, personnel (college/pro)
,public relations, security, sponsorship, ticket sales, technical
services and video services.

NFL great
and namesake of the John Wooten Leadership Award, John Wooten, accepting
the inaugural award at the VIP Reception aboard the luxury Biscayne
Lady Yacht
Our
signature event, the VIP Reception honoring John
Wooten and his 50 year association with professional football, was
magical as over 200 celebrities, current and former football players,
front office personnel and NFL moms enjoyed the ambiance of Miami
aboard the luxurious Biscayne Lady Yacht. A benefit
for Haiti and Autism Speaks, the reception was co-hosted by Vivica
Fox and 103.5 The Beat's Vanessa James,
with entertainment by Kym Whitley. Hall of Fame
running back Jim Brown, a former teammate of John
Wooten with the Cleveland Browns, presented John with the inaugural
John Wooten Leadership Award to be given annually
at the Super Bowl to the college and professional football player
who best exemplify the leadership and vision of the man behind the
Fritz Pollard Alliance (www.fpal.org), the organization that has
acted as the change agent in terms of changing the complexion of
management, coaching and scouting positions in the National Football
League.

Harry Carson, President of the Fritz Pollard Alliance acknowledge
the announcement of the inaugural award at the VIP Reception.

and Entertainment Team's Cheryl Foster, mother of former NFL running
back Desean Foster, and ESP's Everett Glenn, acknowledging guest
as the first annual Super Bowl VIP Reception honoring John Wooten,
Chairman, Fritz Pollard Alliance.
